September 30th 2008 - California

So we've made it as far south as Santa Rosa California where we are enjoying a nice healthy lunch and some free wireless:) It feels like we left Oregon ages ago and so far northern California has not provided much in the way of amazing experiences. Spent a couple of nights in various state parks and drove thru a giant redwood tree - actually Paris didn't fit so we had to walk thru instead:( Today we're off to taste some wines and drive the Golden Gate bridge which is actually red?

Saturday September 27th

For all those jealous types out there consider this: We spent our first night in a Walmart parking lot in Longview Washington. Although the atmosphere was lacking the lack of payment seemed to make up for it. We were careful not to park to close to the McDs drive thru and got a lovely spot next to 2 parking lot trees:) We wandered up the coast checking out Seaside Oregon and lunching at Ecola State park, caught a glimpse of a Gray whale at a roadside lookout and ended up at South Beach State Park which has WiFi for a nominal fee and much to my utter pleasure free HOT showers with - get this - good water pressure....ahhhh life on the road not so bad after all. Today we're off to checkout the dunes - check ya later dudes:)

Hi all!

Ricardo and I leave for our great adventure after spending a few days in Vancouver over this weekend. We hope you check in here from time to time to see where in the world we are and what exciting things we will be seeing and doing. This is my first blog ever so please don't expect too much:)
